Adults ages 55 and older are invited for a series of programs on avoiding fraud in their financial affairs presented by Greg Wright, Certified Fraud Examiner and Certified Financial Planner.
The topic of this program is "Understand Guarantees, Risk and Financial Products." Bank accounts, guarantees, retirement savings plans and basic investments may be confusing. This course will help you understand the economic differences, including risks. It was developed by Greg Wright years ago to help consumers understand their risk tolerance and meaning of so-called "guarantees."

In partnership with WorkOne and EmployIndy, the Library presents a free service for unemployed or underemployed individuals to receive one-on-one assistance to enhance their employment skills. The session will focus on job search strategies, interviewing skills, resume development, and instruction on basic computer skills. The Job Center is made possible by the Office of the Lawrence Township Trustee and Friends of the Library through gifts to The Indianapolis Public Library Foundation.
