Children of all ages and families are invited to dive into the world of superheroes and super villains during this fast-moving magic show presented by Don Miller. Attendees can discover the world of comic books, graphic novels, and the lore of heroes from the past. Special thanks to Downtown Comics & Closet Space Toys.
Those attending this program will experience a mini-museum of amazing movie props, such as the Green Lantern's Power Battery and Spiderman's Mask, to name a couple.

Instruments such as maracas, bells, hand drums and gathering drums will be used, as well as colorful scarves for visual tracking and movement. The goal of the program is to use rhythm, music and movement to create a caring, connected rhythmic community. The program requires the participation of the caregiver. No older siblings, please. This program is made possible by Friends of the Library through gifts to The Indianapolis Public Library Foundation.

They'll listen to a favorite monster story, hand-build a mixed media sculpture, and draw and paint their creation using watercolor and crayons. Patrons are invited to learn how to select and use eReaders, as well as search and download materials from the Library's extensive collection of eBooks, audiobooks and digital music. Patrons can drop in anytime during this two-hour visit by the Library's traveling eBook Tinker Station, which is staffed by an eReader expert who can answer questions about the equipment and collection. The Station provides reliable and unbiased information about this growing technology. The Tinker Helpline is also available to call for answers to your questions at 275-4500. This service is made possible by The Indianapolis Foundation Library Fund and Friends of the Library through gifts to The Indianapolis Public Library Foundation.
