Patrons can drop in anytime during this two-hour visit by the Library's traveling eBook Tinker Station, which is staffed by an eReader expert who can answer questions about the equipment and collection. The Station provides reliable and unbiased information about this growing technology. The Tinker Helpline is also available to call for answers to your questions at 275-4500. This service is made possible by The Indianapolis Foundation Library Fund and Friends of the Library through gifts to The Indianapolis Public Library Foundation.

Children of all ages and adults are invited as Blue, Butler University's legendary bulldog mascot, comes to the Library to promote the book, "Good Boy, Blue!" written by Michael Kaltenmark and illustrated by Jingo de la Rosa. The author will join Blue for book signings and book sales courtesy of Bookmamas. This children's book tells the story of Butler Blue's first day on the job. The Irvington neighborhood was home to Butler University from 1875-1928.

As part of the Library's "Celebrate Brazil" series, adults and teens are invited as local artist Carol Tharp-Perrin will lead participants on a journey to discover our kinship with Brazil through the arts. More than 20 years have passed since the Earth Summit of 1992, when world leaders gathered in Rio de Janeiro for a first-of-its-kind conversation about the state of the environment. This program will explore the arts and environmental concerns for the present and future preservation of the earth as our home.

The theme of this evening's films is "Andy Granatelli Tribute Night." Films shown will be "The Quiet Revolution" (1967), "Racing Revolution" (1968), "The Challenge of Champions" (1969), and "One Heartbeat Away" (1973).
