Young ones who need to practice their reading skills are invited to tell a story to trained therapy dogs. Reading to dogs has been shown to increase children's reading skills and confidence. The therapy dogs are calm, patient, attentive and non-judgmental listeners. Each child will get a bookmark of the dog they read to that day.

Children ages 5 and up are invited to join ceramic artist Sarah Tirey for an hour-long, hands-on experience in clay. They'll discover more about clay and help mix a special batch of Indiana clay to take home. Participants will help transform the recipe into a clay piece on the potter's wheel.

Young ones who need to practice their reading skills are invited to tell a story to trained therapy dogs. Reading to dogs has been shown to increase children's reading skills and confidence. The therapy dogs are calm, patient, attentive and non-judgmental listeners. Each child will get a bookmark of the dog they read to that day.
