Mad Science: Preschool Gears

Young children ages 4 - 7 are invited for a close-up look at the science behind the movies. They'll step into the role of a Foley Artist to make their own sound effects, engineer a Gear Train, and ask themselves the question, "3D or not 3D?" They'll conclude by watching pictures comes to life with a Praxinoscope (a mirrored animation device). This workshop is presented by Mad Science of North Central Indiana and is made possible in part by Friends of the Library and The Kroger Co. through gifts to The Indianapolis Public Library Foundation.
