Events at the Library

Children of all ages and families are invited to meet Guy Hansen, an Eli Lilly Scientist in Residence, and his son Blake, as they share how we can find gears everywhere. Learn about Indiana's use of gears in agriculture, auto racing, the space program, and biotechnology. Hands-on activities in the Learning Curve will include a fix it, design it and build it project in the Tinker Lab; making an IndyAnimation using Pivot software and a Curve laptop; and designing and powering an electric car out of Legos.
