Breaking Barriers: The Little Rock Nine
|
|
Individuals of all ages, especially young ones in grades 3 - 12, are invited for a dramatic reading by Nicole Kearney Productions of a play that reveals how young people impacted the Civil Rights Movement. The play looks at September 1957 when, amid violence, hatred and protest, nine students integrated Central High School in Little Rock, Arkansas. They never knew their desire for a better education would have such an impact on their lives and those of others. |
