Events at the Library

Children and families are invited to this outstanding series of free performances by Indy's leading jazz musicians. They are a great way to share jazz music with children that will be fun for everyone! These hour-long programs are presented by the Learning Curve at Central Library in partnership with The Indianapolis Jazz Foundation and Indy Jazz Fest. This program, to be held in Central Library's Clowes Auditorium, will feature the Indianapolis Jazz Orchestra, Indiana's premier professional repertory big band ensemble. The IJO was created to preserve and advance the dynamic history of the big band. It performs world-class musical arrangements based on classic tunes from the Great American Songbook, new arrangements and original compositions.
