May 19th Committee Meeting

The fourth meeting of the IMCPL Strategic Planning Committee was held on Monday, May 19th at the Central Library. Committee members received an overview of the library’s finances and began discussions on possible future revenue and expenditures. Notes from that meeting are now available.

Public Forum 5-27-2008

The last public forum was held Wednesday, May 21st at 7:00 pm at the Southport Branch Library located at 2630 E. Stop 11 Road. Notes from that forum are now available. Public forums held on May 5th and May 6th are also now available.

New Strategic Plan Passed by IMCPL Board of Trustees

At its regular meeting on November 20, 2008, the IMCPL Board of Trustees formally adopted a new Strategic Plan for 2008 – 2014. Based on recommendations of a community-based Strategic Planning Committee, the plan addresses the Library’s mission, its vision and goals.

Strategic Plan Presented at July Board Meeting

The IMCPL Strategic Planning Committee presented it’s final report to the Indianapolis-Marion County Board of Trustees at their July 2008 meeting. Dr. Martin Jischke presented the report which outlines Mission, Vision and Strategies for a new Strategic Plan. The report also includes recommendations on implementation of the plan.
